Oh my god, guys! Have you heard the news? The infamous app TikTok has been banned in India! Yes, you read that correctly! The app that single-handedly made so many of us famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) is gone from the Indian app store.

Now, I know a lot of you are probably panicking, checking to see if the app is still available in your country. But don't worry, at least for now, TikTok is still alive and well in the rest of the world. But who knows what the future holds?

Personally, I'm just glad that I don't have to see any more of those cringe-worthy dance videos with people trying (and failing) to look cool. I mean, seriously, some of those videos were just painful to watch. And don't even get me started on those lip-syncing ones. Ugh.

But on a serious note, it is a bit concerning that a government can just ban an app like that. I mean, what's next? Are they going to start banning other social media apps? And what happens to all the people who built their entire careers off of TikTok? Is their 15 minutes of fame over already?

All I know is that I'm going to enjoy this momentary break from the constant barrage of TikTok videos on my social media feeds. Who knows, maybe we can even come up with a new dance craze that doesn't involve pointing and waving our arms around like crazy people.
